Client authorization
Access to client systems, payer portals or provider-data platforms must be authorized by the client and limited to the agreed work. The engagement should identify permitted users, systems, data categories, activities, escalation points and access-removal responsibilities.
Approved systems and channels
Operational information should be handled only through systems and communication channels approved for the engagement. Public or unapproved consumer tools must not be used for patient data or client-confidential operational data.
Human review and accountability
